New Instagram features designed to help plan and publish better Instagram content.
#1: Post Directly From Desktop
For now, Instagram desktop publishing options apply to feed posts only—which means just images and video. Native Stories, Reels, or IGTV publishing from desktop hasn’t launched yet. Alternatively, if you haven’t received the update yet, this what you can use in the meantime:
– Facebook Business Suite – Creator Studio – Third-party tool that allows desktop posting.
#2: Upload and Edit Instagram Stories Drafts
Your draft will be available for just 7 days. This is an important time frame to keep in mind. What this means is that, you won’t be able to plan and draft stories more than a week ahead of time.
#3: Drive Traffic with Stories
No more waiting until you have reached 10,000 followers to access this feature so you could establish a linking strategy. Stickers will allow linking out from stories. Linking from stories will now be available to everyone, not just big or verified accounts.
#4: Add Auto Captions to video content
This adds a sticker to your story that automatically turns your audio into captions as well as translate. Auto-caption feature for feed posts will be launching soon.
If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, then toggling among them all can be a bit of a hassle. Save valuable time and avoid errors if you manage Instagram engagement or publishing from the mobile app. Conclusion With so many new Instagram features in the works, make sure you’re not optimizing for functionality that’s no longer accessible.
